Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA) wishes to inform its clients and tourism stakeholders

that, effective July 1st, 2024, all transactions previously made in US dollars will now be

settled in Tanzanian shillings.

All US dollar payments will now be converted to Tanzanian shillings based on the Bank of

Tanzania (BOT) daily exchange rate as the government continues to develop a

permanent payment modality in collaboration withal relevant stakeholders.

It is important to note that individuals/Companies issued with Control Number in US

dollars before July 1, 2024, will need to pay based on the currency specified in the

respective control numbers until August 1, 2024
