Travel Tips

  • ✈️ Fly from Dar es Salaam (DAR) to park airstrips such as Mtemere, Siwandu or Beho Beho; road access is also possible (long dry-season drive).
  • 🕒 Best light and sightings at dawn and late afternoon.
  • 📌 Pack binoculars, sun protection, lightweight neutral clothing, and a light jacket for boat safaris.
  • 🐾 Walking and boating require authorized guides—always follow ranger instructions.
